visual diary part 22 _ because the night
from somewhere to somewhere else
Yesterday in the morning the crows danced one more time their strange dance in the sky. I was sitting in the train watching their mysterious fly in the rising morning sky. The train started to move and left the main stadion. Slowly the crows became littler and littler points in the greyblue. I waved goodbye. Five hours later I spent one and a half hour in a felt nowhere cause I had no idea where this city I changed trains is located. Another few hours later I arrived at paris. I never saw the metro so fucking crowded – but everything worked and moreover I was too tired to complain about being right in the middle of such a chaos. Paris felt somehow familiar. While sitting in the train I watched several ongoing dramas on the platform. This more than fourteen hour trip seems to be splattered into fragments.
something for the heart head ear
Radiohead released a new album called “The King of the Limbs”. You can read some reviews
and listen to it here. I’m listening to it right now for the first time and i’m surprised because it’s so different from “In Rainbows”, not so depressed and heavy somehow.it’s paralyzing and I like that it’s so electronic. there’s so much pressure, so much feeling. for me it’s such a great gift to have the change to explore new music.
“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”
“We are beginning to see the influence of dream upon reality and reality upon dream.”
by Anaïs Nin
i took these pictures at paris near centre pompidou. all the walls were painted with the colour of a mysterios light. it was like walking in a big labyrinth having no idea where i am and what i’m going to see next. i hope you can find something from this special feeling in the pictures.
