transformation

transformation

this series of collage is inspired by the idea that identities are not something natural or essential. moreover they are constructed, fluid and changing, mutidimensional and complex, sometimes inconsistent, in the state of an everlasting transformation.

i also want to question how we read images. none of these images can be read as a whole. the pieces can never fit together and create something complete. our glace always breaks on the edges. and the fact that we want to see something complete. we want to read male or female. one or two. black or white.

sometimes i feel like my head is exploding in all these binaries
