travel diaries // vienna – the child in each one of us
during hot summer days i visited lovely friends in vienna and one more time i explored this city. this time accompanied by a skateboard.
i took these pictures in central vienna, at the prater & the museumsquartier (which is an awesome place for art lovers). you see art from the exhibition technosensual – where fashion meets technology
and the utopian clothes shop / factory of found clothes which is a project by the russian artists natalya pershina-yakimanskaya and olga egorova. in their manifesto they say wonderful things like “The place of the artist is on the side of the weak. Weakness makes a person human, and it is by overcoming weakness that heroes are born. (…) Art is not an abstract game but an adventure; not cold rationalism, but live emotion.(…) Society is made up of people. Only by helping these people follow the path of self transformation, do we change society. There is no other way.”
i am so thankful that i have the opportunity to see all these places and learn about a lot of things.
