an archive of feelings // a love letter to lost places | leipzig

since i first moved to  leipzig in 2007 a lot of things changed. the city around me is changing its face. a lot of the abandoned places i loved to explore don’t exist anymore. now they are refurbished. they look new and neat and the rents are too high. i don’t like that. i don’t like this hype about leipzig & how it is changing this place i love so much. we need cities that serve the needs of people, not the needs of profit and capitalism. so these pictures are my love letter to the wonderful and beautiful city of leipzig. they are a love letter to the lost places, the abandoned houses and factories, the old and broken, the hidden adventures, the beautiful view from the top of an old empty building and silence of long left places.
