visual diary 88 // passing through
this summer i spent a lot of time in berlin. here are some random pictures i took while i was straying through the city. there are so many words in me waiting to be written down. but i will save them for momo #4 which will hopefully be ready in time for the zinefest berlin. i currently read natalie goldberg’s “writing down the bones” and i can highly recommend you to read this book if you are intersted in writing practise. once more i realize how important writing is to me and how much it helps to process/walk through/let go experiences and feelings. she writes heartwarming sentences like “writing is a path to meet ourselves and become intimate”. don’t be afraid of telling your stories/expressing your desires and fears in whatever way is right for you. they are worth being told!
tonight i also want to share some bands i just discovered and like a lot with you:
malaise, heartbreaking post punk/cold wave from lyon
the dropout control, melancholic and strong post rock from berlin
friendcrush, queer/trans*core from berlin
static means, post/wave punk from leipzig
(dance like nobody is watching)
