travel diaries / paris _ all watched over by machines of loving grace.

paris holds a special soft spot in my heart, so when i was invited to speak at conference in february 2017, i said yes and booked the train tickets. it was good to meet my fried w. i spend a whole day at palais de tokyo, an exceptional place for modern art lovers like me. the conference was nice, but hanging out with fellow queers was even better. what i loved most was the sweet taste of spring because as usual it was much warmer in paris than in leipzig and the food markets. despite my shitty french i managed to buy delicious food. it is a challenge i take on every time i am in another country — go to a market and by food whether i speak the language or i don’t.  i look forward to come back to paris — as always.
